”South Atlantans for Neighborhood Development (SAND) is an umbrella organization that was formed in 1979 to serve the residents and businesses of the South East Atlanta neighborhoods situated between Grant Park and East Atlanta.  This includes:

The all-volunteer, 501(c)3 non-profit corporation brings together residents from the seven neighborhoods for the purpose of improving the quality of life within our community, to promote discussions of issues affecting our neighborhoods, and to promote a sense of community pride and belonging.”

It's fun, it's portable, it's beautiful, it's time: you're about to learn embroidery. In this basic hand embroidery casual mini-class, you will get to know the ins and outs of embroidery from Sarah Roberts of In The Quiet Hours. You'll also get hands-on with your very own kit to learn basic stitches while stitching an anatomical heart bursting with blooms! All while sipping some Eventide beers - so it's pretty much a win-win!

Grab your inner Gutenberg for this awesome hands-on experience: printmaker extraordinaire Becca will guide you through a brief history of printmaking & bookbinding. Then it’s DIY time - you’ll print and stitch a simple journal to help you understand the basics!
